The adult beverage industry is in a state of upheaval and change. Almost all segments of the alcohol industry declined or were flat in Q1 and Q2 2025. Multinational conglomerates are 'adjusting' their portfolios, while many small and midsized producers face closings, chapter 11s, mergers, and consolidations.

Not only are consumer buying habits changing but their affinity and loyalty relationships to brands are also changing.

Traditional business models and marketing tactics used by many small to mid-sized producers are outdated and often not aligned with evolving customer profiles and psychographic preferences.
